The Performance Products "Stopper" is a wonderful product. It replaces the existing head cork. It is a Delrin material with dual O- rings. Dear fellow flute enthusiast;          

Performance Flute Plug can be installed in any flute. It replaces the standard "wine bottle cork" stopper. It uses 2 o-rings to effect the airtight seal.

The function of the stopper is twofold.

1. Airtight seal.

2.Dampening the vibrating air column to achieve a pleasant flute sound.

The traditional "wine bottle cork" stopper dampens the vibrating air column MORE than is necessary.

Performance flute plug SETS FREE the vibrating air column to give you more power, cleaner sound, easier and quicker response throughout the full range of the instrument.
