Sonata Breve
Commissioned by the Greater Columbia Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, this three-movement sonata begins with majestic fanfares. The middle movement, "Aria," is built on the pitch names for AGO COLA (Columbia.) The sonata concludes with a "Toccata á la Jongen." Contemporary harmonic language makes this a great new addition to your recital literature.
