Leila Fletcher Piano Course Book 2

The student moves from the elementary to late elementary level in Book Two. Student duets and teacher duet parts are included. Transposition is taught using ten very easy studies with keyboard charts. New concepts are presented in an easy, enjoyable, practical manner. C, G, D and F Major keys, scales (one octave), and hand positions are represented here. Triplets, dotted quarter notes and eighths, staccato, articulation and phrasing (two notes in a slur), and the damper pedal are all covered. Fingerings are provided very liberally at this level.
